Vacuum Leak Detection System

The advanced Vacuum Leak Detection System continuously monitors the interstitial area around double-walled piping, enclosures, tank walls, etc. The controller creates a vacuum in the interstitial space and if it senses a significant pressure drop for a specific amount of time, the controller alerts the operator of a leak. The system also alerts the operator to whether the leak is oil or water. Vacuum leak detection gives significant benefits of early alerts even before liquid is present.

Overview and Features

The vacuum leak detection monitoring systems can be used on double-walled piping, enclosures, sumps, tank walls, etc. The controller monitors up to four underpressure zones that monitor the space. When pressure loss change is sensed in one of the zones for a specified time, the controller alerts the operator of a leak in that zone. The vacuum leak detection system signals early leak detection even before a liquid is present to set off an alarm.
