RPV Nut Rack (Optional Washer and Stud Cap Storage) 

Features: 

Preferred Engineering has designed and engineered several styles of RPV Nut Racks for specific station needs. The polished stainless steel weldment is engineered to support the weight of the RPV Nuts, Washers and, if necessary, store RPV Stud Caps as well as facilitate the hanging of lead shielding for ALARA initiatives. The Nut Rack has lift points every 45 degrees and includes leveling feet. Cam followers can be added to guide the Rack over the RPV head ensuring minimum clearances are kept. Preferred can design the Rack to break down into pieces for ease of ingress into containment.  

RPV Nut retention can be achieved in a variety of methods depending on ancillary handling equipment clearances and station retention requirements; from simple posts to cups the Nut retention is designed to accommodate Seismic requirements while maximizing operator safety.
