Four-pass boilers are more efficient. Three-pass boilers are mostly used in retrofit situations where the boiler stack needs to be at the back of the boiler.

Please select natural gas fired only, or natural gas and No. 2 oil fired. Note, Preferred Utilities has experience firing a wide range of alternative fuels. Please call our main number for help specifying a boiler package burning fuels other than natural gas or No. 2 oil.

Specify a Preferred control system

All the control choices can provide parallel positioning with oxygen trim control, and VFD control of the forced draft fan. The BMTS, and PLC controls can do fully metered fuel-air ratio control. The PLC-based option is based on Allen-Bradley CompactLogix hardware. If a different PLC hardware is required, please call our main number.
